We're looking for an influential Finance Business Partner to work for our client, one of the largest privately owned transport companies in the UK. You would play a key role as part of the Finance Department within a fast-paced logistics business, supporting an assigned Board member and their senior management team.

If you’re a qualified Accountant with strong financial planning and analysis skills, ideally having worked within a demanding multi-site setting, then you could be perfect, and we'd love to see your CV

Please note: This is a full-time permanent role based at the company’s Cullompton site in Devon, with regular travel to other sites across the UK. The Role
- Reviewing weekly P&L flash/forecast results and monthly management accounts, working with the business unit lead to understand business performance in order to drive profitability
- Co-ordinating production of the annual budget and quarterly forecast, working with the operational managers, identifying risks and opportunities to the business area’s forecast and support their presentations to the Board
- Producing timely and accurate financial reports and business cases to support decision making
- Liaising closely with operational management and presenting the financials at monthly meetings
- Challenging the operational management team on revenue and cost to ensure profit and margin is maximised and helping drive a culture of continuous improvement in your designated business area
- Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial people, offering professional judgement

The Candidate
The ideal candidate for this Finance Business Partner role will be a qualified accountant with significant exposure to cost management, financial modelling and forecasting, with experience working within a dynamic/fast changing environment. A background working within a multi-site setting would be preferred with experience acting as a trusted advisor to leaders and Board members.
