As a man of nearly 40, I've had quite a few interviews over the years with varying levels of success.
And the interviews that always live long in the memory are those where I am asked those weird questions that come out of nowhere and the ones that I couldn't have possibly prepared for.
Although we probably don’t realise it at the time, there is usually a good reason why we get asked something that seems completely irrelevant.
The examples below are questions that have been genuinely asked in interviews down the years. You can either try and understand what the interviewer was trying to achieve with each question, or just enjoy the bizarre nature of each one.
