How will the economy cope?

It is anticipated that in 30 years time, an incredible 17 million people will be aged over 65 in the UK.  This will be a 75% growth on today’s figure and will really impact on Health, Housing and a number of other social services.  If you add to that the number of people who are unable to work and the number of people under the age of 18 and you see that in 30 years time, we in the UK will have a much bigger non-working population than a working population.
