Are strikes really the way to go?

Sometimes it’s difficult to grasp exactly what planet some people live on.  We’re in the midst of one of the deepest and worst recessions ever, companies are falling down around people’s feet, and unemployment is creeping towards 3 million.  The private sector has been hit incredibly hard. 

And yet the public sector (or at least the Unions) feel that they should be immune to any such problems, and not only should have their jobs protected, but also feel that pay rises should be honoured.

To coin a phrase my dad might use, it beggars belief. (more…)

Coburg Banks to get your vote…

Well I don’t know about you but he gets my vote!  How can any red blooded recruitment consultant not back a man that talks about getting people in to work.

I’m talking about David Cameron in case you haven’t picked up my thread yet – stick with me I’m new to this.

Now I don’t want to get on my political hobby horse, trust me when I tell you that – I do want to talk about change though  albeit something much closer to home – us!! (more…)
